Need Official Warrant Information?
Use the case number and court name from your paperwork when contacting these Shelby County offices. No official public searchable county warrant list was located in the reviewed sources.
- Court files and warrant entries: ask the Shelby County Clerk of the Circuit Court for the relevant case record, then confirm current warrant status with the assigned court or Sheriff.
- Missed hearings or recall: contact the issuing Circuit Court, Superior Court 1, Superior Court 2, or Magistrate Court. A licensed Indiana attorney can advise about asking the court to withdraw a warrant or arranging surrender.
- Arrest-warrant service: the Shelby County Sheriff serves warrants. The issuing court handles judicial orders and bond decisions.
- Custody, bond, or an out-of-county hold: call the Jail Division at 317-392-6405, option 4 for bond or hold questions.

Sheriff and Jail Division: 107 West Taylor Street, Shelbyville, Indiana. The county Sheriff page lists administration at 317-392-6345 and lobby hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Another official state page lists a different number, so verify routing before visiting. For bond, the jail page directs weekday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. payments through the Clerk and after-hours or weekend payments to the jail. Call first about the exact amount, any holds, and current surrender instructions. Bond payment does not itself recall a warrant.
